Talk Radio Network Mancow Muller must be thinking "everyone's a critic." Several days after the host was waterboarded live on his Citadel talk WLS/Chicago midday show, an article on the Web site gawker.com alleges the stunt was faked.
DespiteĀ video that clearly shows Muller with his face partially covered and water being poured onto his nose and mouth, the article claims an email from one of Muller's publicists said the process was supposed to be "simulated." It also alleges that the person performing the process didn't do it correctly. http://www.wlsam.com/video.asp
Muller, who appeared on MSNBC with host Keith Olbermann after theĀ process, returned to the show for a second appearance to defend the reality of what happened. See the segment here.
Talk Radio Network president of programming Phil Boyce comments "Somebody was bound to find fault with this. It always happens. But it is pretty hard to fake having water poured on your face. So what if the guy learned to do it on the internet. You can learn to make pipe bombs on the internet also, but they still blow up!"
