Zac Davis is leaving his APD/MD/afternoon position at Clear Channel country WRDU (106.1 The Rooster)/Raleigh and returning to his top 40 roots as the newly named PD of Max Media's recently acquired KONN/Denver, which was just relaunched as Hot 107.1.
"I'm a huge Denver Broncos fan (and city of Denver fan), so this is exciting!" Davis tells R&R. "I'm looking forward to working with VP/GM Jeff Norman and the entire Max Media/Denver team! I will definitely miss my friends here at CC/Raleigh; you couldn't ask for a better group of people to work with. I hope I can take what I've learned here and continue on to great things in Denver! Dick Harlow, Chris Shebel and the staff here have all reminded me why I love our industry."
Davis' previous PD stops include WABB/Mobile, WGBT/Greensboro, KOSO/Modesto, and WBVD/Melbourne, FL. He begins his Mile-High adventure on April 29.
