Riley Getting Independent

Word Label Group senior director of national promotions James Riley is preparing to launch Riley Promotions, a full-scale independent radio and marketing promotions company.
He says Riley Promotions should be open for business by mid April and will be based in the Nashville area. His goals are to focus on securing airplay for music and further creating and maintaining positive artist exposure within radio and touring markets across the U.S. as part of long-term branding initiatives.
"I'm excited to serve artists by utilizing radio airplay to promote them on the local retail and touring levels," says Riley. "I will pursue all opportunities of exposure at radio and not only focus on the broad national airplay."
