Sumner Named WCQR PD
Loses interim title

Brian Sumner has officially been named PD of Christian AC WCQR/Johnson City, Tenn. He has been serving as interim PD since the departure of PD Chalmer Harper in Sept. 2008. Sumner joined WCQR last summer as the assistant to the PD and morning co-host.
GM Mike Perry says, "I am so excited to announce Brian as our program director. During his time here he has proven to have the skills and knowledge to lead our station and most importantly, shown me that he has a real heart for ministry and serving others. He will do a great job and the listeners of WCQR will benefit greatly.
Sumner continues his role as co-host of "Breakfast Radio" alongside Perry.
