Reporting to the General Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of Programming for the edge including the following:

• Management of on-air staff; weekly training/coaching Aircheck sessions

• Performance management/appraisals of all staff to create a
winning team attitude

• Development of station strategy with flawless execution

• Directing of weekly music meetings and implementation of music research

• Creation and management of station budget

• Management of Promotion department and lead the development and execution of station promotions, including BBM rating campaigns involving Marketing and Promotions

• Understanding and appreciation of sales and revenue development

• Adherence to the Corus Values and policies

• Internet passionate. Wants to build it as big as the station

• A strong customer service approach when dealing with listeners,
clients and staff

Web Content Manager Needed Now

Entercom seeks a self-motivated, creative, Web Content Manager for two of its Boston stations: WAAF and WMKK (Mike-FM). Ideal candidates are innately imaginative and possess tangible experience in producing online content. Strong writing skills, some audio & video editing experience, a solid design background, and familiarity with prevailing multimedia technologies are all essential. You will oversee and participate in the creation of online content; maintain and update the stations’ websites; and direct database activities. Additionally, you’ll be expected to train and motivate air talent and other non-web personnel to insure their contribution of content. Project management experience, including the ability to provide oversight and direction on multiple online activities from inception to completion, is a must.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: 2+ years of experience with HTML 3.2/4.0 at the tag level preferred; experience working with content management systems; graphics programs; knowledge of browser compatibility issues for all platforms/major browsers; and experience with streaming media, online video, and online multimedia applications in general.
