Bailey, Kiner Promoted At Word

Word Entertainment has promoted Josh Bailey to senior VP of A&R, and Jamie Kiner to director of A&R.
Kiner will report directly to Bailey, while Bailey will report directly to Word Entertainment’s president and CEO, Mark Bright. "We have an unwavering commitment to bring the best music and talent to fans everywhere, and our A&R team is crucial to finding and developing tomorrow’s up and coming stars," says Bright. "With Josh’s proven commitment and experience in the music industry, he has demonstrated his ability to lead our A&R efforts. I’m excited to announce both of these much-deserved promotions."
Formerly senior director of A&R, Bailey will now oversee all current and upcoming Word Entertainment artist-related projects as well as the continued development of the company’s artist roster. Bailey has been with Word Entertainment since 2005. Kiner has also been with Word since 2005 and was previously Word’s A&R project manager. In her new role, she will work more closely in assisting with the development and signing of the label’s artists. Additionally, she will oversee the coordination of each artist’s album recording process.
Otto Price will continue in his role at Word as VP of A&R. Price has also been with Word Entertainment since 2005.
