Rejoice! Musical Soul Food has recently experienced a great amount of programming and personnel changes, beginning with the network relocating its headquarters from Dallas to Virginia Beach, Va. Afternoon personality Cedric Bailey has been named VP of programming, replacing Willie Mae McIver, who has exited after almost a decade with the network.

McIver will maintain her base in Dallas and channel her energies into her consultancy, Covenant Media, which specializes in helping advertising agencies develop radio promotions for companies that are trying to target African-American audiences. The company also consults gospel radio stations. McIver can be reached at mciverdallas@aol.com.

Night show host and 25-year gospel industry veteran Doc Christian, who was last the gospel PD for Clear Channel/Norfolk & Virginia Beach, has assumed MD duties at Rejoice! Musical Soul Food. He's been with the network since it launched nine years ago. Shauneille Wilcher joins the network to fill the opening in middays created by McIver's departure.

Former Local Focus Radio senior account executive KC Frazier has been hired to join the Rejoice! Musical Soulfood sales and marketing team as Southeast regional sales manager. According to president/CEO Mike Chandler, "Having KC Frazier in place positions Rejoice Musical Soul Food to effectively serve the needs of our clients to connect with the faith-based marketplace."

Rejoice! Musical Soul Food currently has 43 affiliates broadcasting the network.
