MySpace Canada has joined forces with Corus Entertainment and streaming company StreamTheWorld to launch MySpace Radio, a new service that gives users access to Corus station streams (powered by StreamTheWorld) that can be integrated into their MySpace experience.
Additionally, MySpace Canada will band with Explore Music, part of Corus' online experience, to discover and give exposure to new bands that are outside of the major-label system. The "Found on MySpace" contest will launch in May, with users voting for their favorite new band, and the winner will be showcased on Explore Music's nationally syndicated show and promoted by Alan Cross.
