When K-LOVE listeners tuned in to hear Jon and Sherry Rivers on Monday morning (March 30), what they heard instead was the voice of EMF Broadcasting president and CEO Mike Novak, and what he had to say was a surprise to everyone.
Novak confirmed to R&R that Jon and Sherry's morning show "has been canceled due to family issues, all having to do with Jon and Sherry. Out of respect, we ask for prayers and privacy for them and their family."
According to CBNNews.com, Novak told listeners, "It is our privilege and honor to have shared the past seven-plus years with Jon and Sherry anchoring the morning show on K-LOVE. They mean so much not only to our immediate K-LOVE family, but to the millions of listeners like you who tune in each and every week. Our prayers are with Jon, Sherry and Lexi as they attend to family issues."
No word yet on who will replace them.
