Tom Fetzer, the former mayor of Raleigh N.C. is threatening to sue morning host Curtis Wright of Sea-Comm Media talk WLTT/Wilmington N.C. for libel. He is angry because of an email Cutis forwarded alleging Fetzer is gay. Fetzer tells the Charlotte News and Observer, "The fact that I'm 54 and single does not mean that I have to put up with vicious rumors that I'm gay." Fetzer is currently running for head of the state's Republican Party.

James P. Lake, who at one point co-hosted the show "Money in Motion" on Entercom talk WILK/Wilkes-Barre, Pa., has been charged with mail fraud for promising investments to clients and then pocketing their money. He is expected to plead guilty and faces up to 20 years in jail and $1.2 million in fines.
