The "Paul & Young Ron Show," currently heard in mornings on Clear Channel Radio (CCR) classic rockers WBGG (Big 105.9)/Miami and WKGR (the Gater 98.7)/West Palm Beach, will add two new Florida affiliates on June 8: CCR classic rockers WAIL (Sun 99.5)/Key West and WFKZ (Sun 103.1)/Key Largo.
"Paul and Young Ron are a top-shelf morning team that will unite our brand from South Miami to the Dry Tortugas," says Mark Mills, VP/market manager for CCR. "They deliver a level of programming the Keys have never had and we expect them to be a strong draw for us."
"We can't wait to get started," Castronovo says. "Being on Sun 99.5 and 103.1 is perfect for us. We're as local to them as a syndicated show could possibly be and have proven that we appeal to all demographics."
In the Winter '09 Arbitron ratings in persons 25-54, the duo scored at No. 2 ranked 4.4-5.9 on WBGG, but dipped 5.7-3.3 on WKGR.
