The Budget ATV of Unhappiness visits Astral Media's Calgary cluster, where Ben Jeffery exits the APD/MD chair at rocker CJAY due to budget cuts. Chad Martin, who had been programming top 40 CIBK (Vibe 98-5) and is also cluster OM, takes over the direct care and feeding of CJAY as PD. As a result, asst. MD Russ Empey, who also does noon-4 p.m., is upgraded to full-on MD with all the rights and responsibilities thereof.
But wait -- there's more! Martin is handing off his PD stripes for Vibe to Ceara K, who's arriving in June from the PD lounge chair at CHBE (107.3 Kool FM)/Victoria, BC.
