Rivers Gets Sunny

Heading to Baton Rouge

After 4 1/2 years at Clear Channel AC KKMY (Mix 104.5)/Beaumont, Texas, PD Don Rivers is leaving to take over the programming reins at Citadel AC WCDV (Sunny 103.3)/Baton Rouge, where he'll also do mornings. Rivers, who starts Monday, April 6, takes over from J-Tweezy, who's PD/morning guy on urban clustermate WEMX (Max 94.1) and has been handling Sunny programming.

"I will miss the Clear Channel/Beaumont crew, it has been a great experience," Rivers tells R&R. "I'm looking forward to great Cajun food and joining the Citadel team in Baton Rouge."
