On Monday, Feb. 23, JV will be re-installed as the morning show host of KYLD (Wild 94.9)/San Francisco. He replaces part-timer Jon Manuel, who began handling the shift on an interim basis in September after "The T-Man Show" ended its run on the Clear Channel rhythmic station. Manuel will remain in mornings as the producer once the new show debuts.
JV spent about a decade in morning drive hosting "The Dog House" with Elvis on Wild 94.9 and exited a few years ago. JV was last heard on-air with Elvis hosting middays on CBS Radio talk WFNY/New York, but the duo was released after a phone prank to an Asian restaurant led to protests.
While JV and Elvis have a lengthy on-air history together, JV will reportedly be partnered with Wild 94.9 midday personality Christie. It has not yet been revealed if or when a replacement will be announced for middays.
